Inspired by her mother’s grit, Mia K. Wright had a God-directed vision to create an impactful and transformational women’s conference. With her passion for seeing women succeed despite the odds, Mia developed Metamorphosis in 2000. It has emerged as one of the largest and most successful long-running mega women’s conferences in the United States. February 20, 2001, marked the inaugural conference in Galveston, Texas. Since then, The Fountain of Praise and Houston’s George Brown Convention Center have hosted Metamorphosis Conferences in Houston.
